Catching Fire

Catching Fire might be Peeta and Katniss's relationship might take off and the might live together or just fall more in love thats why I cant wait to read that book because The Hunger Games was a great book. Thats also what I think the title Catching Fire means that the relationship takes off like a fire.

Woody Guthrie

Woody Guthrie was a man that lived though a lot of heartache and tragedy. That is why he became a rebel. His songs mostly were about The Depression or The Dust Bowl. Others talked about how people need to stop arguing and the tragedy's in his life. He also sang about the other people. He performed at Grapes of Wrath Evening. He also had radio stations to broadcast things over.

They had a lot of mischief in this book from Abigail. That is trying to get Elizabeth Proctor killed because she is the only thing between her and John Proctor. He had an affair with Abigail behind Elizabeth's back. Now Abigail is jealous of Elizabeth and that is why she is trying to get her in trouble for witchcraft.

Cover & Summary

In the book The Crucible By Arthur Miller it talks about the witchcraft and the stress people had to go through to show their innocence. The Crucible takes place in the 1690's. All that were tried for witchcraft were told they would go to hell for it. One old man named Giles had so much ignorance that he would not lie to save his life and was killed by....... you'll have to read to find out.

Abigail is fraud because she is using trickery to blame people for witchcraft or being witches. When they aren't really witches so she can get notest.

Haiti

Newsday Tuesday

The Arctic is about the movie Paranormal Activity's. The movie is about a young, middle class couple moves into what seems like a typical suburban “starter” tract house, they become increasingly disturbed by a presence that may or may not be demonic but is certainly most active in the middle of the night especially when they sleep.

About me

I have learned about a place in Africa called Sierra Leone in the book A Long Way Gone By Ishmael Beah. I think my typing skills, writing, reading, and blogging are getting better. My blogging goal is try to get better at typing and completing the blogs with no spelling error's.

Haiti problem

It is one of the poorest and least developed countries in the world, Haiti in recent years has struggled with problems ranging from near-constant political upheaval, health crises, severe environmental degradation and an annual barrage of hurricanes, which killed an estimated 800 people and caused vast damage in 2008. Jan. 12, 2010, a massive earthquake struck Haiti, reducing much of its capital to rubble. With as many as 50,000 feared dead. The devastation created serious obstacles to those attempting to deliver promised foreign aid. People are donating stuff to them and they are getting shipped down to Haiti by truck or boat.

Ishmael now

He went to collage at Oberlin. He pursued advocacy work against the abuse of children in wartime. He spoke at the UN and met with leaders including Bill Clinton and Nelson Mandela. He works at the Human Rights Watch C29hildren’s Division Advisory Committee and he now lives in Brooklyn. He has been the keynote speaker for several events like the Global Young Leaders Conference 2007 (July 15-26 session), Oberlin College's 175th convocation ceremony, and the 2008 College Conference in Montreat, North Carolina. He recently went back home to Sierra Leone with an ABC News camera. To the point that we emulated the leaders, he said. When the lieutenant or corporal caught a prisoner and slit their throat or something like that, all the young people talked about it and say we want to do that, we want to be like that.

I think this quote means that everybody no matter your color we should be able to get along. All people should have the same rights as White people. We should not hate each other so we don't get in fights or kill each other.
Now people get along better but not everybody. We still have people that discriminates people because of the color of their skin and looks.

This poem talks about Ishmael because he keeps things in like seeds in a apple he looks like he liked the war when he hates it and wont's it over and also he has a hard time showing his feelings toward people he only shows the hate toward people.

Double Conscisness

Soldier- as a soldier he has never really trusts other people, he don't feel pain as much, and had anger issue's.
Boy- as a boy he has flash backs, he still don't trust the doctors or anyone that isn't in his group, he has mental problem's too, and he thinks lower of everyone.
