Wheel of Dreams

This is the Wheel of Dreams Which is carriered on their voices; By means of which their voices turn And center apon being. It encircled the first world, This powerful wheel. They shape their songs upon the wheel And spin the name on the earth sky, The aboriginal names. They are old men, or men who are old in voices, and they carry the wheel among the camps. saying:Come, Let us tell the old stories, Let us sing the sacred songs

This poem is about The Absolutely True Diaries of Part Time Indian. The part is about him wanting to play basket ball, go to a different school, and find away to get off of the res.
